Grace Lennon Named Captain of Australia for 2026 Women’s PGA Cup ⛳

Melbourne Golf Park is proud to celebrate our PGA Accredited Coach Grace Lennon, who has been named captain of the PGA of Australia team for the 2026 Women’s PGA Cup.

The tournament will be held at Carden Park Resort near Liverpool, England, from September 3–5, 2026.

The Women’s PGA Cup is a prestigious international team event featuring female PGA Professionals from Australia, the United States, Canada, Great Britain & Ireland, South Africa, and Sweden. The 2026 competition will be played over 54 holes of stroke play, with the best three of five scores counting toward each team’s daily total.

As captain, Grace leads a strong Australian squad aiming to challenge the long-standing dominance of the United States in the competition. This marks her second appearance at the Women’s PGA Cup, following her key role in Australia’s third-place finish in Oregon in 2024.

A proven performer on the WPGA Tour of Australasia, Grace captured The Athena title in 2023 and continues to build an impressive competitive record alongside her coaching role at Melbourne Golf Park.

Reflecting on her appointment, Grace shared that captaining Australia is a meaningful milestone in her career, highlighting both the pride and responsibility of representing the PGA of Australia on the international stage.

Beyond competition, the Women’s PGA Cup also provides opportunities for PGA Professionals to connect internationally, share insights, and strengthen the global coaching and playing community—an aspect Grace has previously described as one of the most valuable parts of the experience.

Melbourne Golf Park congratulates Grace on this outstanding achievement and looks forward to following her journey as she leads Australia in 2026.
