ROADS CLOSED, RANGE OPEN!
With the 2026 F1 Grand Prix approaching, we want to keep you up to date on when Melbourne Golf Park will be open and ready to welcome you for driving range sessions, mini golf, and golf lessons throughout the event period.
With internal road closures in place around Albert Park during the setup and post-race weeks, here is what to expect:
Key Dates
Feb 23 – Mar 2: Albert Park road closures in effect. Melbourne Golf Park OPEN AS USUAL.
Mar 3 – Mar 9: Melbourne Golf Park will be closed.
Mar 10 – Mar 15: Albert Park road closures resume. Melbourne Golf Park OPEN AS USUAL.
From Mar 16: No road closures — easy vehicle access returns and we are OPEN AS NORMAL.
Getting Here During Road Closures
During road closure periods, the easiest access to MGP is via the Wright Street pedestrian underpass on Canterbury Road.
To make your visit as smooth as possible, our team has reviewed the area and prepared a guide to nearby parking options and available times (see below).
Public Transport
Public transport is also a convenient option. Simply take Tram 96 and get off at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre for an easy walk to Melbourne Golf Park.
